Privacy Notice
DirectLane is a local macOS network routing tool. Its rules and connection diagnostics are processed on your Mac.
Local information
The app stores your selected applications, routing rules and preferences locally. Connection diagnostics may show application identities, destination domains or IP addresses, interface information, counters and recent errors. Runtime security state is kept in the app’s protected local storage.
Network traffic
The network extension examines connection metadata and, where needed for routing, parts of a connection’s protocol headers. Direct connections and DNS queries go to the destinations or DNS servers needed for your requested connection. The app does not install a TLS root certificate or decrypt TLS traffic.
Developer access
The app has no advertising or analytics SDK, and does not automatically upload your rules, browsing destinations or connection diagnostics to Quviss Limited. The developer does not operate a remote VPN or relay service for these connections.
TestFlight beta testing
If you test a beta through Apple TestFlight, Apple and the app developer receive crash logs and usage information, as well as feedback you choose to submit, under the TestFlight terms. This platform-provided beta testing data is separate from DirectLane’s local routing diagnostics. See Apple’s TestFlight data information.
Information you choose to share
You may copy or export diagnostics and send them when requesting support. Review them first: they can contain application names, domains, IP addresses or local network details. Support information you voluntarily send is used to address your request.
Retention and removal
Rules remain locally until you edit or remove them. Recent runtime diagnostics use bounded in-memory records. Removing the app does not necessarily remove data retained by macOS in its container; you can remove that local data separately.
